Coca-Cola en México tiene el distintivo de "Empresa Socialmente Responsable", otorgado por el Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (CEMEFI), no obstante sigue siendo protagonista de problemas que podrían cuestionar su aparente "responsabilidad social", al mismo tiempo que se pone en tela de juicio los lineamientos que tiene CEMEFI para otorgar este tipo de distintivos.
